Captain Leon's Uncertain Emotions 2

It was finally time for Leon's spring.

"Excuse me, thank you for the bath..."

As he was finishing up some paperwork at my desk in his room, Leon heard a reserved voice from the bathroom behind him. He guessed Rina was trying not to interfere with his work.

"You can use the bathroom here tomorrow, too. I'll leave the key with you when I'm not here, so make sure..."

He turned around casually and suddenly stiffened.

There she was, the most beautiful goddess he had ever seen. She had her glasses tucked into the breast pocket of her nightgown, probably since they got in the way of her wiping her wet hair, while she carelessly ruffled her hair with a towel. Her eyes, exposed for the first time, were large and wet, adorned by long eyelashes. Their obsidian depths seemed to suck one into her gaze. Her small nose was well-shaped, and her smooth cheeks were perfectly curved, turning pink from the hot water, making Leon think that this was the ultimate form God had given her.

How could she change like this just by taking off her glasses? Were those glasses cursed or something?

"Rina, how old are you...?

"You're already an adult!?" Leon howled involuntarily.

In this country, one was an adult at 16. You could even get married then. That's right. Even marriage.

The blood rushed to his head, and Leon turned beet red.

He half forced her out of the room and closed the door. As soon as he closed the door, he crouched down and clutched his head in his hands.

"Hey Commander, Rina is an interesting girl in many ways..."

In the cafeteria, after Lina left to take a bath, Leon stared at Heinz, who carelessly grinned in front of him.

"For such a young girl, she can do all kinds of household chores and is very attentive and honest. I can't stand those glasses, but judging by her nose and mouth, I think she's pretty cute underneath those things. Have you ever seen Rina's real face?"

Leon glared at Heinz.

"I'm not letting her go, even if she is the Goddess. Remember that."

Heinz then grinned, looking like the cat who got the cream.

"Of course, of course. I'm not going back to that salty charcoal food either. And of course maybe my feelings aren't the same as yours, but we all like her in our own way, don't we?"

"Well...I see. That's good."

Rina was apparently much more accepted by the Knights than he thought.

"...By the way, is Rina so cute without glasses that you are now obsessed with her-"

"Shut up, shut up! Another word and I'll glue your mouth shut!"

Leon just knew this guy was the devil.
